Kacific CommsBox is a turnkey solution that can quickly establish connectivity during disasters or in emergencies. A transportable, all-in-one solution, designed for rapid response, it can can be instantly activated to establish connectivity, stored at remote sites, or even airdropped into the emergency zones.

Governments, civil defense, police, military, rescue services, and aid operations can consider purchasing CommsBox to serve as a lifeline for communications in instances such as:

• Time of disasters - Fibre cuts in the nation & cell towers are destroyed due to natural disasters

The CommsBox can be used once the during the first User Acceptance Testing, upon receipt of CommsBox. The service plan for every CommsBox is for 5 years (2 years with equipment warranty).

CommsBox can be deployed anywhere. CommsBox also comes in a sealed, fire-resistant, buoyant and transportable, all-inclusive container, and hence can be deployed or airdropped at any disaster zones.

The CommsBox comes with a two-year warranty on all replaceable parts starting from the date of purchase.

If any equipment is found to have manufacturing defects during this warranty period, you can reach out a Kacific representative to arrange for a replacement. More information will be provided in the Commsbox manual upon purchase.

Kacific Community WiFi lets you set up WiFihotspot sites to provide high-speed, reliable, and affordable internet to local communities and tourists via an easy prepaid voucher system.

Vouchers start from USD 2 per GB with variety of voucher sizes, durations, and prices

For interested Internet Service Providers or businesses that would like to install a Kacific Community WiFi site to connect communities, kindly contact Kacific’s local sales team at sales@kacific.com.

A Kacific Community WiFi site can connect up to 120 simultaneous users at the same time.

A Kacific Community WiFisite supports up to 70 Mbps in download, and 15 Mbps in upload speeds, which makes the service perfect for Internet streaming, video calls, and social media browsing.

Vouchers are automatically generated when a purchase is initiated by the customer. There is no limit to the vouchers that can be purchased or utilised. Customers can purchase voucher of their choice based on volume , size , price and duration.

Yes, you may set your own prices for the vouchers, subject to Kacific’s agreement. For more information, please contact us at sales@kacific.com

Kacific will share a report with you at the end of the month on the number of vouchers sold

The vouchers are fully customisableupon request, subject to Kacific’s agreement. There is no limit to the data capacity for one voucher. There are also time-based vouchers available.

Kacific will support the deployment of the site, and yourlocal Internet Service Provider will install the equipment and provide technical support at each site.

KacificEnterprise Backup is a high-speed, reliable, and flexible satellite broadband service that provides you with secondary backup connectivity service on-demand when your primary source of internet fails, ensuring business continuity for your organization.

Upon failure of your primary internet service, you can connect to Kacific Enterprise Backup service powered by Kacific1, to enjoy unlimited access to internet instantly without any prior activation.

Kacific EnterpriseBackup works like an insurance policy for your internet connectivity. A minimum flat monthly fee applies to the Enterprise Backup plan to keep the site active. Upon activation of the backup service, you will enjoy unlimited internet connectivity until your primary internet link is back on. During the activation of the backup service, you will be charged based on the data usage incurred at the end of the month.

Upon the request for provision of the plan, Enterprise Backup is activated and will be available for connectivity whenever a fibre cut or power cut happens.

With a flat monthly fee for Enterprise Backup and a usage fee upon further use of the plan. As the data consumption exceeds the threshold of 200MB, Kacific will bill the overage per site based on data usage. Please contact sales@kacific.comto find out more.

Your Internet Service Provider will be able monitor the data usage you have consumed through Kacific network monitoring tools and share the data usage with you.

Kacific Enterprise Backup is meant to be a backup service and used only when the primary internet service is compromised.

However, should you choose to connect to the backup service, you can do so at any time. Kacific also has unlimited monthly plans, Gigstarter, that may be well suited for your long-term connectivity requirement.

Ideal for large enterprises and businesses, government agencies and emergency services who need access to broadband internet 24/7 for critical communications and internet-based applications. This service gives you secure, stable high-speed connectivity delivered over an easy-to-install satellite dish. And when your bandwidth is not needed for backup, we’ll work with you to develop a business solution to generate supplemental income with this capacity.

Yes. Kacific offers Fibre Backup as a complimentary service which can be added to your Kacific network package.

In the event of a fibre cut, Kacific Fibre Backup redirects your dedicated satellite bandwidth. Your remote sites continue to operate, but a part of the capacity from each site is switched to a redundant dish at the fibre landing station. It only requires a different CAPEX to place additional terminal or terminals at fibre landing points.

Kacific provides low-cost, high-speed, reliable satellite broadband via Kacific1, Kacific’s high throughput satellite, which reuses the same spectrum multiple times to achieve greater spectral efficiency and hence a lower cost per bandwidth.

Kacific1 also uses Ka-band technology and spectrum with spot beams, resulting in availabilities between 99.1% to 99.9%. Such availabilities are entirely suitable for internet services and, in many places, exceed the availability of terrestrial networks or even mobile networks.

The Virtual Network Operator platform allows the configuration, packaging, portioning, traffic profiling, monitoring of the network, and commissioning and provisioning of individual terminals.

Via the platform, you can set traffic profiles and preferences, set package boundaries and limits, or integrate bandwidth into your network with your own traffic rules.

You can do this via the Virtual Network Operator platform, which allows you to monitor your network.

It depends on the agreement signed between both parties. The minimum commitment of a FlexVNO contract is 1 year.

Yes, Kacific will train partners when the Framework Service Agreement is signed between Kacific and the partner. The partner will be trained on using the Virtual Network Operator platform and monitoring tools that Kacific will provide to manage the network. Re-training can also be conducted at the request of the customer.

The equivalent of two (2) months of the contracted monthly capacity will be due ahead of the start of the contract. Subsequent bills will be issued two (2) months in advance of the monthly contracted capacity. For instance, you will be billed on the 1^st of January for the monthly contracted capacity from the 1^st of March to 31^st of March. The start date of your agreement with Kacific will be mutually agreed upon.

Gigstarter is a fully remotely managed service product created by Kacific for its Internet Service Provider (ISP) customers. It is a high-speed and affordable turnkey solution for residential and business end-users. ISPs can then sell the Gigstarter plans and distribute and install the Kacific satellite dishes to provide data to end-users.

With Gigstarter, ISPs do not need to commit to a large amount of wholesale Ka-band bandwidth. They only commit to each terminal for a minimal short period, typically a month, and can stop each terminal service at given notice.

The ISP can activate terminals in every beam that covers the country, subject to availability. Each Gigstarter terminal will be operating in a large bandwidth pool to allow high Peak Information Rate (PIR), which otherwise would only be feasible for ISPs buying a very large quantity of bandwidth to cover a country.

A variety of Service Plans will be published and updated regularly for each country with different provisioning parameters and prices. These will be disseminated to you by your local Sales and Regional Directors. A Service Plan is made of peak access speeds (PIR), monthly fees, contract duration, and other commercial conditions such as activation and termination fees if applicable, and traffic priority rules.

No minimum commitment to the number of terminals deployed and under a Service Contract. All current Service Plans can be subscribed to for 1 terminal only.

Yes, there is a Fair Usage Policy, which is part of our Acceptable Use Policy (AUP).  The general goal of the AUP is to define what is an unacceptable use of internet service via the Kacific network. The FUP then supplements this by curbing the usage of the heaviest user to ensure that all users of the network get a good experience of the internet and are not affected by the over-consumption of outliers.

At the start of the activation date of the terminal, every user begins with the same high-priority access to all types of services via the internet. As the heaviest users start to reach the stipulated consumption threshold disproportionate to their contracted plans, other users who are consuming within those thresholds will see their usage prioritized.

The traffic usages of the users within threshold will be prioritized, allowing faster access to services.  Kacific will review from time-to-time the thresholds and prioritization of data under the FUP.

No deposit is required as the service will be automatically suspended if the payment is not received past the due date. You may however prepay for the service.

Kacific GigWiFi is a two-for-one service that allows businesses to connect up to 7 users with a Gigstarter plan and sell ‘WiFidata vouchers’ so other nearby businesses or individuals can pay to access high-speed internet from the same site.

Connecting to Kacific GigWiFi allows you to connect your headquarters or main office with unlimited, high speed, reliable internet service,while connecting the community via the sale and activation of pre-paid WiFi vouchers, making Kacific GIgwifi well suited for schools, hospitals, hotels and more.

There are two components to a Kacific GigWiFi site:

Gigstarter

- Up to 50 Mbps upload speeds

The plan types are fixed, and no upgrade or downgrade are offered.

Yes, you may set your own prices for the Kacific GigWiFi vouchers.

The vouchers are customizable upon request. There is no limit to the data capacity or volume size for a voucher. There are also time-based vouchers available.

Yes, the data usage on Community WiFi is independent of the usage on the Gigstarter plan. The usage on Community WiFi will affect the Gigstarter plan usage. Unlimited Gigstarter plan is subject to Acceptable Use Policy.

You can only work with one Internet Service Provider. Once you have successfully registered, Kacific will assign you to an Internet Service Provider to work with.

Please check with your assigned Internet Service Provider about the policy regarding area exclusivity. Kacific ensures that all Kacific Authorised Distributors, regardless of area, are entitled to the same incentive schemes, promotions and technical support.

All users should be able to access our services and get the best possible experience through our local Internet Service Providers. Kacific Gigstarter plans are subject to Kacific’s Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP").

There are two types of Gigstarter plans:

• Volume-based capped plans


• Unlimited plans, subject to Fair Usage Policy (FUP)

You can earn up to US $350, and more, for every end-user that you sign up for and whose equipment you successfully install. Your earnings will depend on the plan each end-user signs up to.

Enjoy an additional one-time incentive if you sign up end-users on higher-tier plans (e.g., 7-user Gigstarter plan).

To find out more about the exact breakdown of your earnings and how you can collect them, please contact your local Sales Directors or write in to sales@kacific.com.

Step 1: Please visit our website and fill in your details at https://kacific.com/contact. Select ‘Apply to be a distributor’ under the Purpose section.

Step 2: You will receive a first contact email from our local sales directors to verify your details as a potential distributor. You will need to provide the address of your store and documents for vetting. These include your name, email address, contact details, proof of address, business registration certificate and passport or identity card.

Step 3: Once your application is accepted, you will be invited to sign a KAD Agreement.

Step 4: Upon receiving your signed agreement, Kacific will introduce you to the local Internet Service Provider (ISP) and Authorised Distribution Partners (ADPs) that you have been assigned to work with. You will receive a Letter of Agent Appointment from our local ISP partner to certify that you have been appointed as its official agent or reseller in your area.

We recommend that you frame the letter and display it in your store so potential end-users can quickly and easily identify you.

Step 5: Complete both training modules and become certified as a Kacific Certified Installer. For more details, refer to Question 5.

Step 6: Buy at least one terminal from your ADP so you can start serving your first end-user. For more details refer to Question 7.

Step 7: You can now start selling Gigstarter!

You would need a business licence to become a Kacific Authorized Distributor.

Kacific will provide two training modules and a marketing kit to prepare you to sell and effectively install equipment at an end-user’s site:

• Sales, Marketing and Delivery


• Installation

If you do not plan to be the person who installs the equipment, you may assign a representative to go through the installation module.

Upon successful completion of the three installation assignments, you or your staff member will be certified as a Kacific Certified Installer.

• To promote and sell Gigstarter through your store or individual sales representatives
• To sign on new end-users
• To install equipment at the end-user’s site against a fee assigned by Kacific
• To retain end-users and resell new plans in future

Gigstarter plans can be offered to anyone who wishes to enjoy a broadband service. Potential end-users for Gigstarter are Government agencies, businesses, and residential internet users.

Since the Internet Service Provider is a licensed operator in your country, its logo should be prominently visible. As a footer to the Internet Service Provider logo, you can add “Powered by Kacific” in the bottom right corner. Please refer to the template as an example.

Kacific and our local Internet Service Provider will provide you with core marketing materials such as brochures and digital photos to use for social media for you to promote our products.

Yes, you can resell Gigstarter plans at any time.

Kacific Maritime and Offshore Connectivity offers a reliable network connection, whether on a vessel or an offshore platform, as long as it is within the Kacific1 coverage zone. It is also scalable across many different ships or stations.

Using our next-generation Ka-band satellite technology, our geostationary satellite maintains a fast and reliable connection even during rough seas, providing speeds of over 50Mpbs. Kacific Offshore Connectivity also offers a larger upload capacity for system operations.

We offer low cost unlimited plans ( subject to AUP) and cost-per-gigabyte plans with no other recurring fees. Tailored packages must be assessed according to the vessel size, number of devices to connect and sites required.
